The Children's Encyclopedia WONDER BOX

We have not established when the Wonder Box was sold. Some of this one's original contents are missing, however over the years various of the Puzzle Museum's collectors have used the box to hold many of the Children's Encyclopedia gifts that can be found in our collections so it now contains far more than it originally held.

The Children's Encyclopædia
was originated by Arthur Mee, and published by the Educational Book Company, a subsidiary of Amalgamated Press of London.

It was published from 1908 to 1964. In its earlier years it used to give away many interesting educational items including puzzles.
