RED EGG PUZZLES Ancient and Modern. |
The objective is to take the two halves of the egg apart. This puzzle was designed and made by Wil Strijbos in 1986 for half a dozen serious puzzle enthusiasts. Made of a thin plastic egg and various bits and pieces, it was very difficult and very fragile. Wil had forgotten all about it until he visited The Puzzle Museum a couple of years ago where he rediscovered it. |
With new technology and manufacturing facilities in China he made it more beautiful, much sturdier, and even more difficult. Made in aluminium and steel the weight has gone from 90 grams to 510 grams. |
