THE EGYPTIAN MYSTERY |
|
|
It is very rare to find puzzles of this date and type in their original boxes. Unfortunately we are missing the instructions but the objective is to remove the ring. It was named the Egyptian Mystery as the "Egyptian Question" was a very topical at the time. The box gives Bland's address as 478 New Oxford Street where he had his shop from around 1863 until the street was renumbered in 1882. Mudie's Library was a very important lending library until the government started funding public libraries. |
