Decorative Fans and Frames from standard packaging.

The puzzle is to devise ways of cutting up ordinary packaging to make ornamental fans. These examples date from the mid 20th Century.

Made from 25 Player's Navy Cut cigarette packs. 164mm diameter.

Made from 38 Player's Navy Cut packets. 220mm diameter. All the head have been curved outwards giving it a very three-dimensional look.

Made into a frame from 42 Nelson Cigarette packets. 280mm diameter.

These can probably be taken apart; however each has been stuck onto a piece of card so that it can be hung on the wall. It is arguable that they are not really puzzles until you try to design and make one for yourself.
